“I want to call on all sectors, many of them have raised their ideas and proposals and we have listened to them very carefully, we want to call on all sectors that want to have dialogue, who want to collaborate, and who want to seek agreements that will allow us to move forward faster,” he said.
Piñera assured that his administration “has been, is and will always be with the best attitude, and with the best willingness for dialogue, collaboration, for the search for agreements”.
In his message, the ruler said that the agreements could translate into measures to combat coronavirus and also be extended to the creation of a social protection plan, in the wake of the economic crisis generated by the pandemic.
In the same vein, the head of state stated that the situation should also cover an economic revival strategy, which would help reverse the consequences of the Covid-19 outbreak on the country’s activities.
“These agreements have to be put within a fiscal responsibility framework and a fiscal budget framework that allows us to deal with needs very sensitively, very responsily the challenges of the future,” he said.
