Morelia, Michoacán.- Through a statement the ISSSTE de Michoacán reported the death of Dr. Rodrigo Jiménez García, director of the IsSSTE Family Medicine Clinic in La Piedad, Michoacán, after a fight against the covid-19 coronavirus.
“This loss hits both workers and rightholders; but above all to his family and makes it clear that we should not let our guard down under any circumstances,” as dr. José Manuel Mireles Valverde, Deputy Doctor of ISSSTE in Michoacán, unveiled.
Mireles Valverde, emphasized the great work of those who in life, dedicated himself to taking care of the health of others as a doctor and worker of this institution and with regret referred to the loss of the now former director of this medical unit as one of the most active fighters against Covid; this doctor attended the first case of a patient with this disease within the Institute and who unfortunately, as has already happened within the Institute nationally and throughout the world, joins those who have lost the battle against this evil.
The sub-delegation took the opportunity to call on all the staff of the Institute to “continue to face this virus together and to continue with the commitment to take care of the health of the right to the publicity and the Michoacans”.
The federal official added that facing an unknown and aggressive illness frightens and asked ISSSTE health personnel to “do not crack” as their work, as always, is and will be critical to the nation and to our families.
