President Andrés’ son Manuel López Obrador became a trend with the nickname “El chocoflan” after a video of him vacationing in Acapulco, went viral on social media.
In the recording, apparently made by another tourist, you can see AMLO’s youngest son, Jesús Ernesto López Gutiérrez, walking without a bowler with two men who, if they use them, through the lobby of the luxury hotel Princess.
The images have turned Mexico around, but it’s no surprise when you consider that this Friday, the president’s family was seen on a plane, albeit there if they were carrying punch covers.
Now, thousands of people are criticizing the action of this family, when the undersecretary of health, Hugo López Gatell has constantly asked Mexican families not to go on leisure or vacation trips, since the important thing until the end of the pandemic is fully official.
As always, though, this has been a source of controversy on Twitter.
