On February 18, 1992, the hard rock band Guns N’ Roses released the tenth song and third single from the studio album ‘Use Your Illusion I’, titled ‘November Rain’, which was written by vocalist Axl Rose and is now a trend on social media when November arrived.
It is considered one of the longest and most epic ballads they recorded; she won the MTV Video Music Awards for Best Cinematography. The video is based on the protagonist Axl and his paregia (Stephanie Seymor, Axl’s girlfriend at the time), with a budget of $1.5 million; it is currently the ninth most expensive music video in history.
There are several interpretations of ‘November Rain’ by the lyrics, it is believed that the man tries to tell the bride that the turbulent times will not be forever and that he will be willing to take distance if necessary, as long as she returns. However, the video shows the story of a newly married couple; showing the life and funeral of the bride. The video doesn’t explain how the bride dies.
All this made it one of the most iconic songs in history.
