Two people were injured after a recorded explosion on Friday morning at a pizzeria located in the mayoral Azcapotzalco.
The Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection reported that the explosion occurred from gas accumulation.
The property is located on Totonacas street, corner with Pimas, of the Tezozómoc colony. 
Civil Protection personnel attended the accident and cordoned off the area to allow emergency care maneuvers.
The operation also included elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security, Red Cross, Civil Protection of Azcapotzalco and Firefighters, who quelled the flames. 
According to the authorities, two people resulted in minor lacerations and were cared for by paramedics. Both are stable.

As for the property damage, 13 affected properties were registered in glassware and two motorcycles and five vehicles that were parked in the vicinity.
Operational Tactical Staff and the Directorate-General for Risk Analysis made visits to homes adjacent to the pizza business to rule out structural impacts.
Until the closure of this note, no further human and material involvements had been recorded at the site of the explosion.
