For today, a short-lived cold front will cause strong wind gusts over northern Coahuila, the system is expected to move to the southern United States at the end of the day and stop affecting the national territory. On the other hand, the ingress of moisture from the Pacific Ocean into the interior of the territory will cause showers and isolated rains in various areas of Mexico.
In addition, the south component wind (“surada”) will continue with streaks 40 to 50 km/h on the coast of Tamaulipas and Veracruz. Finally, a new cold front (No. 20) and its associated polar air mass will enter during the early morning of Sunday over the northwest and northern border states of the country, in interaction with the jet stream, will cause temperature drop and strong wind gusts over Baja California, Sonora and Chihuahua.
