Health authorities recorded 396 more COVID-19 deaths in Mexico, totaling 118,598 deaths.
Meanwhile, 5,370 new cases of coronavirus were added to this Sunday. With this they total 1 million 325 thousand 915 positive cases in the country.
The Director General of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health, José Luis Alomía, noted that there are 81 thousand 967 active cases estimated in the country, these are the cases that have had symptoms in the last two weeks.
In terms of hospital occupation, Mexico City is closest to saturation with 85% occupied beds; is followed by the State of Mexico with 78%.
Baja California managed to leave third place and lowered its occupancy to 66%. While the availability of beds was reduced in Guanajuato which registers 71% occupancy. Hidalgo follows with 67% occupancy.
