The PC’s deputy, Hugo Gutiérrez, posted a modified photo on his twitter account in which parliamentarians from Chile Vamos were arrested with José Antonio Kast, all doing the Nazi salute. “Right-to-right list to the convention is preparing to get a third of conventionals to prevent a new political constitution,” was Gutierrez’s phrase to accompany the image.

The image annoyed the UDI, where DEPUTY Juan Antonio Coloma announced that he will take the background to the House Ethics Committee. “Mr Gutierrez has made hate speech his form of political action, so we asked for his dismissal months ago, but today he continues to incite hatred, calling for violence,” Coloma said according to radio slogan Bio Bio.

“This is why again, we will move Mr Gutierrez to the Ethics Committee to discuss the background and hope that the maximum sanction will be applied to him. Attitudes like this, with calls for Nazi violence, must be cut from the root,” Coloma added.
At the same time Gutierrez announced that he will leave Congress to run as a candidate for the constituent convention. That is why the parliamentarians who are going to denounce it asked the respective committee for speed.
“We’re going to ask today morning for the Ethics Commission to accelerate (…) in all the instances where Deputy Gutierrez is because he has to make a decision on that before he leaves,” said DEPUTY RN, Sebastían Torrealba.
