According to data provided by the Department of Health Statistics and Information (DEIS), the total number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 in Chile reaches 4,176,094, of whom 772,389 correspond to people who completed their vaccination schedule, receiving both doses. In this regard, the authority reported that a total of 124,023 first-dose and 194,991 second-dose people have been immunized on Monday, 8 March, until 6 p.m. Compared to gender, 59.2% of inoculates are women and 40.8% are female. Meanwhile, 2,653,488 people over the age of 60 and older have participated in the campaign.
