Morelia, Michoacán.- The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Michoacán (FGE) through the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office on Human Rights and Freedom of Expression, complied with an apprehension order against Miriam Paola R., for his possible relationship in the crime of Trafficking in Persons, as a form of prostitution of others, in the grievance of his 14-year-old niece.
According to data contained in the Investigative Folder, in March 2021, the now detained moved the victim to various sites in the city of Morelia, where he forced her to commit these acts.
The facts were reported to the Human Trafficking Care Unit of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office that initiated the investigations, managing to establish the identity and possible relationship of Miriam Paola R., in this crime.
Therefore, the respective arrest warrant was requested, which was gifted and completed in Tarímbaro by elements of the Investigative Police attached to the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office, and the release of the victim was also achieved.
The detainee was presented to the judicial authority to resolve her legal status, as she was admitted to the “David Franco Rodríguez” Prison Center.
