Despite the complex epidemiological situation throughout the country, on Monday schools will open in Córdoba, Corrientes and Mendoza in addition to the City of Buenos Aires, thus challenging the presidential UND. Although the political conflict is in the Federal Capital, the governors of Cordoba, Juan Schiaretti; Gustavo Valdés; and Mendoza, Rodolfo Suárez, decided to return to face-to-face classes.
In the City Horacio Rodríguez Larreta announced the return to the garden and primary presence plus the bimodal format for 1st and 2nd year in secondary and virtual for the rest, while in Cordoba between May 31 and June 11 the initial level, primary and special education will resume face-to-face classes. The Cordoba bubble system establishes an alternation between a virtual week and the other face-to-face. The secondary will return to the presence in towns with less than 30,000 inhabitants.

In Friday’s daily report, Córdoba recorded the second largest number of cases in the country, behind the province of Buenos Aires, with 4,654. Oscar Atienza, Cordoba doctor and teacher alerted in recent hours by the collapse of the systemThe four provinces will challenge the UND of the National Government that is in force and that establishes virtual classes, even if they are without the supreme court’s ruling in the context of the dispute that opened the City.
In that decision, the highest court stated that each province has the power to define classes.
