Dupasquier was transferred by helicopter to Florence Careggi Hospital and overnight was operated by a hemoneumottórax in the lung and sounded to drain blood and air into pleural space. However, the severity of his brain injuries made it impossible for him to save his life.

The fatal accident of the young driver of the German team PrstelGP occurred between curves 9 and 10 of the Mugello circuit, and triggered the suspension of the same. Immediately after the fact, medical intervention vehicles from the International Motorcycle Federation (FIM) arrived at the scene to care for the Swiss on the track, before moving him to the hospital where he finally died.
