A new flight of Aerolíneas Argentinas (AA) will depart this Saturday for Russia to look for a new batch of vaccines against the Sputnik V coronavirus. The news was confirmed by the president of the flag carrier, Pablo Ceriani, through his Twitter account.
“We want to announce that tomorrow 7.30am a new @Aerolineas_AR flight departs to Moscow to bring more doses of @sputnikvaccine. It is the 31st operation we are carrying out in search of more doses for the largest vaccination campaign in history,” wrote Ceriani.Se a flight operated by AA that is scheduled to depart for Sheremetyevo Airport, Moscow, at 7.30 a.m. from Ezeiza International Airport. It is estimated that the return will be around 100 noon on Sunday.
This trip is in addition to the one already planned, also for tomorrow, bound for Beijing that will bring more doses of Sinopharm’s COVID-19 vaccine within the framework of the agreement between the national government and the China National Pharmaceutical Group Corp.Through this measure Argentina acquired 24 million doses of the Chinese vaccine expected to arrive in the country between July and September. This afternoon one of the flights will arrive from Beijing with 768,000 doses of Sinopharm.
