From Monday night, Bariloche was again decorated with the snow that characterizes the town so much and already accumulate 35 centimeters of snow at the base and at the top of the hill. Gaston Burlon, the city’s secretary of tourism, celebrated the snowfall and indicated, in a conversation with Telam, that last Tuesday work began on the detonations at Cerro Catedral “to prepare the slopes” and prevent avalanches.

In turn, the official spoke on behalf of the inhabitants of the tourist town stating that they are “very happy” that the snow has returned to Bariloche, in addition to expressing wishes that it will continue to fall even more during the coming days. In conversations with the same media, the reference of the press area of Catedral Alta Patagonia, Belén Jonsson, gave some details about how the area is today: “This snowfall we were waiting with eagerness for days, very attentive to what was happening in the forecast, as it changed, went up, down, but always with a lot of expectation and finally arrived”. And he concluded: “The snow always excites and makes us very happy to those of us who are part of the Cathedral to see people at the base enjoying, both skiers and non-skiers, because a lot of pedestrians came to enjoy the snow. ”
