Mexico registered this Sunday 6 thousand 837 new cases of COVID, according to the federal Ministry of Health, so there are already 3 million 335 thousand 700 infections since the beginning of the pandemic.
On the last day, authorities recorded 259 confirmed deaths from COVID.
As of Sunday, 258,165 deaths from the disease have been reported, and there are 12,973 suspicious deaths.

Mexico City, the State of Mexico and Puebla (13,319) have recorded the highest number of confirmed deaths.
According to health authorities, the distribution by sex in the number of confirmed deaths shows a predominance of 62% in men, The median age in deaths is 64 years.
Currently, Health estimates that there are 115 thousand 207 active cases, and 2 million 669 thousand 941 patients have recovered.
By incidence rate, the states with the highest number of active cases are Colima, Tabasco and Mexico City, although this registers the highest number of records (25 thousand 6).
By age group, people between 18 and 29 years old are the ones with the highest number of infections, followed by those between 30 and 39 years old, and by those between 40 and 49.

Nationally, general bed occupancy for COVID patients is 51%, and ventilator bed occupancy is 46%.
In its daily technical statement, Health reported that estimated cases have fallen 18% between epidemiological weeks 32 and 33 of this year.
64% of adults are vaccinated
This Saturday 353 thousand 104 vaccines were applied, so, in total, 84 million 379 thousand 551 doses have been supplied throughout the country.
So far, 57 million 440 thousand 626 people have been vaccinated (64% of the population over 18 years old), of which 33 million 489 thousand 676 have a complete scheme, and 23 million 950 thousand 950 with a single dose.
Mexico City (92%), Quintana Roo (86%), Querétaro (86%) and Sinaloa (82%) are the entities that have applied the most doses.
