Last Saturday, September 25, LALI was part of the international event Global Citizen Live representing Argentina in the 24-hour musical event that seeks to raise funds to defend the planet and defeat poverty. From the emblematic dome of the CCK in Buenos Aires, the artist sang her classics “Boomerang” and “LALIGERA”, as well as “Bailo pa mi”. These last two songs are part of his fourth album, “Libra”, which accumulates millions of reproductions on all platforms.
Also participating in the world event: Elton John, Ricky Martin, Black Eyed Peas, Billie Eilish, Coldplay, Jennifer Lopez, Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello and many more. Before beginning her presentation, Lali said: “I am here to raise my voice, to ask the leaders of the world to help defend the planet and overcome poverty. Let’s make a difference by taking it one step at a time. Because we are citizens of the world, global citizens.” The event has raised $1.1 billion in commitments for climate, famine and efforts to fight covid 19; in addition, 157 million trees that will be protected, restored or planted, and more than 60 million COVID-19 vaccines will be shared
