Authorities in Sonora activated code red for security, after the armed aggression to the Municipal Palace of Guaymas, which has left three dead.
The Sonora Prosecutor’s Office explained that the victims are two men and a woman, while corporations of the three orders of government attend the emergency.
It is an escort of the mayor, Karla Córdova; an alleged assailant, and an unidentified woman, confirmed the agency to Animal Político.

They also requested to “prevent access to the first square of the city.”
Meanwhile, the Secretariat of Security of Sonora assured that they maintain an operation in the area in collaboration with the National Guard, Municipal Police, Navy and the State Prosecutor’s Office.
