Guadalajara, Jalisco .- In order to face a criminal process, the father and lawyers of a minor who was allegedly abused by the Magistrate of the Supreme Court of Justice, José de Jesús Covarrubias Dueñas, asked the local Congress for a trial that allows the judge to be discouraged. Covarrubias Dueñas was singled out in March 2019, during the Me Too movement, as part of academics who had allegedly harassed female students, and on November 16 they denounced him for alleged abuse of a 15-year-old girl.
