TVN returns to profit after a decade marked by the crisis: it recovered its corporate building

After a decade marked by the crisis, Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN) achieved profits of $5,461 million and completed the recovery of ownership of all its assets.
According to the channel, the profits represent an increase of $9,660 million compared to the result of the same period of 2020. To this is added the comparison of advertising revenues, which registered an increase of 50%.
According to the information of the state signal, these gains contrast very favorably with the loss of $ 4,199 million that was registered in the same period of 2020.
“This is explained by higher advertising revenues and new business, better commercial efficiency, economic reactivation and market growth,” TVN said.
In addition, due to the good numbers, TVN was able to regain control of its traditional corporate building.
“On November 24, it proceeded to the prepayment of the last loan it maintained in the leaseback modality, for its corporate building. With this operation, TVN ends the process of recovering ownership of its corporate building and all its assets,” they conclude the statement.
