In the Agronitrogenados case, Emilio Lozoya faces an accusation for receiving an alleged bribe of 3.5 million dollars during the overpriced acquisition of a fertilizer plant that belonged to the steel company AHMSA. With the proximity of the trial for both cases, on November 3 Emilio Lozoya was admitted to the north prison before the attempted escape by the accused, said the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), a request that was supported by the Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF).
