López-Gatell suspends his appearance before Jucopo

The Undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion, Hugo López-Gatell suspended his private appearance with the legislators who make up the Political Coordination Board of the Chamber of Deputies, after the federal official will accuse the deputy coordinator of the PRD, Elizabeth Pérez Valdez of recording him in the session that had been convened as private. The situation pointed out by the health official, was denied by the deputy, and pointed out that López-Gatell used such a pretext to suspend his appearance before the Jucopo.It should be noted that the Chamber of Deputies had agreed to the private meeting only with the representatives of the board of directors and the parliamentary groups, and this meeting unlike the appearances before the plenary are not televised if it is videotaped for the public. According to national media, this fact also caused the disagreement of the federal official with the parliamentary coordinators and before this, Morena and its allies decided to suspend the meeting justifying that there were no conditions of civility. Although the session tried to resume, this was no longer possible, as Hugo López-Gatell proceeded to withdraw from the venue. This caused the reaction of the coordinators who lamented the lack of tolerance to receive criticism around the handling of the pandemic. For his part, López-Gatell regretted that the session had been suspended since he mentioned that different conditions were given to those that had been agreed.
