Violent New Year: 22-year-old girl killed and 5 people injured

A 22-year-old girl was killed, while five other people, including a minor, were shot during a shooting caused by two motorcyclists in the middle of the New Year celebrations in the Buenos Aires town of La Tablada, Party of La Matanza.The fact happened this morning in the toast of several dozen people for the arrival of new year, in front of a house in Lambaré and Alberti streets to the west of the conurbation. According to judicial sources, among the people shot is an 11-year-old girl, also her sister and three other people from the celebration group.

The deceased young woman, who was identified as Madelein Montserrat Noguera, is now in the judicial morgue awaiting the corresponding autopsy. The case is in charge of Marcos Borghi, head of the La Matanza Homicide Prosecutor’s Office, who ordered different proceedings and expert reports of rigor to arrest the two suspects. So far there have been no arrests for the shooting. The assailants intended to enter the party to have a drink.
