Reduction in stadiums and certificate in Jalisco for Covid-19

Given the increase in the number of infections by the Coronavirus-19 Disease (Covid-19) in the state of Jalisco, the Health Board of the entity determined the reduction of capacity in stadiums, request for a document to enter places of recreation and continue with the measures taken so far. In a press conference where they tried to address the main points that concern the people of Jalisco, the governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, highlighted the reduction to 60 percent (%) of the influx in stadiums in all types of sport and the need to present a vaccination certificate in places of recreation. These measures, except for the influx, will start from next Friday, with the support of the municipal authorities, where in case of places of recreation that will be forced to ask for a certificate of vaccines enters: casinos, bars, clubs, stadiums, event halls, convention centers and mass events. The state authorities mentioned that the omniron variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes the respiratory disease, caused a significant increase in the number of active cases, even similar to January 2021 where there were seven thousand 997 confirmed infections, while as of January eight, 2022 the infections are seven thousand 906. in the case of hospitalizations and deaths from Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), they did not skyrocket as last year, because so far, the authorities mention a total of 203 hospitalizations and one death. Hence the importance of vaccination and reinforcement doses, since at the beginning of last year there were one thousand 679 people in medical surveillance with 92 people killed due to respiratory failure. Therefore, the authorities of Jalisco made the decision that to enter places of recreation the vaccination certificate is mandatory or if you have problems downloading the certificate, a PCR test with less than 48 hours of completion or with the ballot that is granted when you were vaccinated is also valid. In the case of returns to school, in conjunction with the University of Guadalajara (UdeG), the calendars for the upper middle and upper system were unified, so all the baccalaureates of Jalisco enter the school on January 31 while university, on February eight. Elementary schools maintain the date of January 17 as the return to optional face-to-face classes, that is, it is not yet mandatory for people to send their children to school and it is the decision of each parent. It should be noted that, in the case of face-to-face schools, it was highlighted that during face-to-face classes there was a lower number of infections, unlike the holiday season, which is when cases skyrocketed. For its part, in the case of cruises in Puerto Vallarta, it was reaffirmed that as a government they are open to receiving visitors from other countries and that in total there are three cruise ships that have not been allowed to disembark because they present active cases of Covid-19, but at least one of them returned to Jalisco lands after meeting the requirements. At the municipal level, Guadalajara will work from Friday in operations to ensure that the rules are met, especially in request for PCR tests with less than 48 hours, vaccination certificates or vaccination ballot, even a fourth municipal option that was not mentioned is contemplated. Alfaro Ramírez stressed that the municipalities outside the AMG have relaxed their prevention measures so he asked for the support of all citizens to mitigate the rise in infections and be able to allow greater openness in entertainment issues.
