Pantheon denounced exhumation of baby Thaddeus: Brugada

The head of the Iztapalapa mayor’s office, Clara Brugada Molina, reported today that last Friday, January 21, upon learning of the possible disappearance of the body of baby Tadeo, the authorities of the San Nicolás Tolentino pantheon denounced the fact. “Immediately we went to the ministerial authorities, to the Attorney General’s Office (FGJ) to denounce the probable illegal exhumation and disappearance of the body of a minor in the pantheon. We were the first to file the complaint with the Prosecutor’s Office.” Clara Brugada explained that since that Friday the authorities of Iztapalapa are aware of the progress in investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of the capital and authorities of the state of Puebla, where the minor of just three months of age was found. “We are very sorry for this event, I want to reiterate my respect and solidarity with thaddeus’ parents and family; it’s a terrible situation that should never have happened and should never happen again.” This was reiterated by the mayor about the three-month-old baby who was exhumed from his own grave the same day he died, because of an infection after several interventions in a hospital of the captain, who a few days ago appeared in the garbage dump of a prison in Puebla.  Brugada stressed that the incident would have been orchestrated by people with the capacity to extract a body illegally, transfer it to Puebla and introduce it to a high-security penitentiary center.
