Cayetano found his dairy donkey, painted zebra

Conflicts and strong interests arise around waste in towns and cities, and of course, if the garbage of some is the treasure of others. In the time of the fifties, the fishing field El Castillo Viejo, lived the bonanza of shrimp, belonged to the then syndicate of Navolato, municipality of Culiacán, since the first Navolatense city council was constituted in 1982 in the regime of Antonio Toledo Corro. The fishermen gave themselves a life of luxury, money ran in abundance and intoxicating drinks too, to the extent that in El Castillo a canteen owned by Don Fidel Valenzuela was installed, which was filled daily with all kinds of customers. Cayetano sold milk from house to house in El Castillo, came from the nearby town of El Molino, and for this he used an old borrico that carried about 70 liters. He trusted the Cayetano milk, but on the day of pay he went into the canteen and came out like a squealing top, to the extent that one day he was thrown away and did not know anything, he fell asleep in the tavern until the next day. Cayetano went to look for his donkey in the street, where he had tied it, but surprise!, it was turned into a zebra, two mischievous from El Castillo, called Malelo and el Grey, had decorated it in black and white stripes with oil paint. The donkey brayed pitifully, was damaged, and died a few days later from the effect of the painting, and the delivery of cayetano’s milk and his drunkenness, came to an end… What a hard blow!
