Macias will play his 100th Liga MX match at Chivas vs Santos

The career of José Juan Macías has run into several drawbacks in the last year. His European adventure was not successful and on his return to Chivas he has hardly been able to make a difference in favor of the Herd. Both situations take him further and further away from the possibility of returning to the Mexican National Team and earning a place in the next World Cup in Qatar 2022. However, something that the striker can celebrate is that he is close to completing his first hundred games in Liga MX. In case of adding minutes in the match of Chivas against Santos, Macías will reach 100 games in the circuit, taking into account those of regular phase and those of Liguilla. Macías debuted with Chivas on July 22, 2017, in Matchday 1 of the Apertura 2017, as a starter in the match against Toluca under the technical direction of Matías Almeyda. While so far in the Clausura 2022, he has only had activity in 3 matches, without a goal yet.
