Lights, playgrounds and trails: the new thing for the Paseo del Bosque

The Paseo del Bosque will have new public baths, playgrounds and pedestrian paths. The objective of the Municipality of La Plata aims to value and recover the infrastructure, equipment and luminaires already existing in the sectors located between avenues 52 and 60 and between 1 and 120.The project, which will be executed by the Secretariat of Public Spaces of the municipality of Julio Garro, includes a new aerobic circuit and a bidirectional bicycle path on Iraola Avenue and another on Cuccolo Street. They will refurbish the existing circuits within the Paseo: the one on 120, on Centenario between Iraola and 120 and on Iraola from Centenario to 120.
A new sector will be set up aimed at sport, rest and meeting. The objective is to act as a generator of situations of inclusion by promoting health, education and community organization. In this sector will be located children’s games, tennis soccer fields and a multi-sports court. Regarding the luminaires: they will place new columns of street lamps both in the pedestrian and vehicular paths, they will replace and recondition the existing street lamps in the Lake area, in the Garden of La Paz and on Iraola Avenue.
