West Access: Two criminals were arrested after shooting themselves with the police

Yesterday afternoon, while police were conducting routine traffic checks, a car fled at full speed as they fired at the checkpoint. At the time of the check, the driver handed over the documentation of the car, but when the police wanted to identify the other people, they accelerated and escaped.
After this terrible moment, the ituzaingó monitoring security cameras located the vehicle on Muñiz Avenue at 600, where one of the criminals got off and tried to steal another vehicle, a Peugeot 206.However, at that time, the thief identified as Jonathan Polo, 33, was arrested, while the Chevrolet Cruze in which the other criminals were going fled. A few minutes later, at the intersection of Badaracco and Paysandú streets, the car was abandoned and the police mounted a bolt operation, with which they managed to arrest a second criminal who was identified as Cristian Quiroga, 43 years old. The case is in charge of the decentralized Functional Unit of Instruction 2 of Ituzaingó, which will investigate the detainees and ordered the search for the three fugitives. After the inspection of the car in which the criminals were going, it was determined that he had a kidnapping request since February 1 at the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the City of Buenos Aires.
