Santa Fe: A gang of scammers was arrested

A gang of fraudsters that was dedicated to the purchase and sale of cars and that operated in the city of Santa Fe was disrupted in the last hours by personnel of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) after the arrest of four of its members, including the alleged leader of the group. After the judicial intervention, in charge of the prosecutor Agustín Nigro, several raids were carried out and the kidnapping of material that adds value to the investigation of the Public Ministry of the Accusation (MPA), including a motorcycle, a vehicle and documentary. The criminal plan had as victims around 20 people, who were harmed by this gang of fraudsters, composed of at least four people between 26 and 40 years old. The raids were carried out on Saturday in two homes, one located at 5100 Juan Lavalle Street in Santa Fe and the other in Los Curupíes street in Sauce Viejo.According to police spokesmen, the criminal group had different roles and this investigation process determined an arduous work in charge of the Prosecutor’s Office and the investigations of the AIC, force dependent on the Ministry of Security of Santa Fe, to finally complete the necessary measures to leave them in the hands of justice. In connection with this cause, a vehicle exhibition shed called “Mauric Automotores” was closed in advance.
