CDMX pauses COVID vaccination for a week; awaits the registration of minors

The government of Mexico City reported that it will pause covid vaccination for a week and asked the population to complete the registration of 12-year-old adolescents to receive their dose.
The general director of Digital Government of the Digital Agency for Public Innovation (ADIP), Eduardo Clark García, estimated that it could be next Monday, May 9, when vaccination for minors begins; however, it will depend on the federal government.
“Next week we will be taking a little pause, in which they give us additional vaccines. We have run out of the vaccines they sent us.

“We are waiting for confirmation of the start of vaccination of 12-year-olds. We believe it will be this Monday in eight. What do we have to do today?, that we register to, in that way, be able to do the planning and convene them, hopefully, next week to see what day the vaccination would begin, “he said.
In the city it is estimated that there are 246 thousand adolescents aged 12 and 13 who could be vaccinated.
This Thursday, the universal vaccination registry against COVID-19 for children 12 years and older without comorbidities was enabled on the Mi Vacuna platform.
