A minor is killed during a shootout in Fresnillo, Zacatecas

A minor was killed on Thursday during a shooting in the municipality of Fresnillo, in Zacatecas, the Spokeswoman of the State Peace Building Board reported last night.
The minor was injured during a shooting on 2 de Abril Street on Plateros Avenue in the town. According to the spokeswoman, he died at the scene.
At the same time, another man was also injured and taken to receive medical attention.

After these events, state and municipal police began a deployment in the area, while the Attorney General’s Office opened investigations.
The daily security report prepared by the federal government indicates that two murders were recorded throughout Zacatecas yesterday. Nationally, there were 75.
The most recent edition of the Peace Index, prepared by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), indicates that Zacatecas is one of the entities with the greatest deterioration in 2021. The others are Sonora and Nuevo León.
