Family and Maternal Allowance: Review state benefits that go up along with the minimum wage

Yesterday, President Gabriel Boric led the ceremony for the promulgation of the law that readjusts the minimum wage and the delivery of subsidies for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
In that instance, T13 explained that the president announced that the minimum wage will be readjusted to 380,000 pesos from May, 400,000 pesos in August and, eventually, to 410,000 pesos in January, if inflation exceeds 7% in December.
Along with this, the project also considers an increase in the Family and Maternal Allowance of the Single Family Benefits System with new tranches.
In this way, the values for these allowances, Family and Maternal will be: Monthly income of the beneficiary of up to $ 398,443, will have a new amount per load of $ 15,597.
While those with incomes between $398,443 and $581,968, the new amount will be $9,571 per family load. Meanwhile, those who earn between $ 581,968 and $ 907,672, can opt for about $ 3,025.
Given the above, in case the monthly income is greater than $ 907,672, you will not be entitled to these allowances.
It should be noted that both benefits will be increased from August 1, 2022, in the same proportion in which the general Minimum Monthly Income is increased.
Do you know what the Family and Maternal Allowance is?
These are benefits aimed at those who receive income and contribute to the pension system. The amount to which family and maternal allowances are entitled is paid to one beneficiary, for each of the people who meet the requirements to cause the benefit (commonly called accredited family responsibilities).
The Family Allowance entitles you to receive for each charge a sum of money that varies according to the salary of the beneficiary. This is done monthly to pensioners and dependent workers affiliated to a pension system (AFP and former pension funds, merged into the Social Security Institute, IPS).

Meanwhile, freelancers receive the money once a year.
On the other hand, the Maternal Allowance is a state subsidy for pregnant workers and workers, with respect to their pregnant spouses, who are the cause of Family Allowance. This benefit is paid for the entire period of pregnancy.
