Minor incidents reported in some areas

This Sunday, June 5, elections are being held in Tamaulipas and some minor incidents have been reported.
According to the Electoral Institute of Tamaulipas, in Reynosa, a group of people closed with chains the entrance to four polling stations; leaving citizens and officials inside the place.
Another incident occurred in Tampico, where they reported a person who, aboard an Aveo vehicle, was throwing pieces of raw chicken at various polling stations.

Although there were rumors of the closure of polling stations in the municipality of Hidalgo, where the column “Pedro J. Méndez” is located, due to alleged orders from the electoral authority, the president of the Local Executive Board of the National Electoral Institute (INE), Sergio Ivan Ruiz Castellot, denied that these instructions were given and confirmed the operation of the polls.
The president of the Electoral Institute of Tamaulipas (IETAM), Juan José Ramos Charre, confirmed the operation of the polling stations 100 percent.
On social networks they also reported boos towards the candidate for governor of Morena, Américo Villareal.
