Government announces support for oaxacans by Agatha

The federal government announced support for inhabitants of 31 municipalities affected by the Agatha pass since May 30.
The Secretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, announced the different supports that will be given to the victims depending on the damage to their homes, crops and livestock.
Those who registered minor, medium and major damage to their homes will receive 30 thousand pesos, while those who suffered total loss of their house will get 60 thousand pesos.

In total, the government will allocate 638.6 million pesos for 19,632 homes affected by the hurricane.
As for the compensation for lost household items, it will be the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) who invests 450.2 million pesos for 24 ml 518 affected families.

According to damage censuses conducted by federal and state authorities, 2,857 ranchers were affected by the hurricane.
Affected poultry producers will receive 10 thousand pesos; pig, goat and sheep, 15 thousand pesos; as well as 20 thousand pesos for cattle and horses. The amount for this program will be just 34.8 million pesos.
For the 7,612 peasants who suffered damage to their crops, a budget of 56.4 million pesos is estimated, where the aid will be 5 thousand pesos for corn, beans and other short-cycle crops, for cocoa and coffee 10 thousand pesos will be granted.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Welfare, there was damage by Agatha in 560 localities, of 31 municipalities declared in emergency, where 28 thousand homes were affected, and 9,681 homes reported some affectation in services such as water, electricity and internet.
In its passage through Oaxaca, Agatha left nine deaths, four people who are still missing, as well as affectations in the hydraulic network that still continue, according to Governor Alejandro Murat,
In addition, 16 medical centers resulted in different types of damage, as well as six earthquake sensors and 243 schools damaged.
