Guerrero.- During the early morning and the morning of this Friday, hooded men set fire to an Urvan van and a public transport bus that provide service to different foreign routes and that are based in Chilpancingo, Guerrero. Reports from the Attorney General’s Office indicate that almost at one o’clock in the morning in Colonia Morelos, where the base of the Urvan vans of the Chilpancingo-Tlacotepec route is located, one of its units was set on fire by several hooded individuals. Elements of Civil Protection and Firefighters arrived to quell the fire and prevent the flames from spreading to other units. The fire caused dozens of neighbors to leave their homes on the streets where this foreign public transport base is located. The Prosecutor’s Office reported that, at 7:10 a.m., hooded men forcibly lowered the driver of a public transport bus on the Chilpancingo-Colotlipa route that was circulating in the north-south lane of Vicente Guerrero Boulevard. Firefighters and Civil Protection personnel arrived, but only to put out the fire, because the bus was scrapped.
