DEA goes after Caro Quintero’s houses in Guadalajara

Guadalajara, Jalisco .- The authorities of the United States do not forgive and since Rafael Caro Quintero was released in 2013 they have followed closely the steps to the extent of wanting to confiscate various properties from the founder of the Guadalajara Cartel, who today was recaptured by the Navy in Guachochi, Chihuahua.Following his release, the FBI has cataloged the murderer of one of its officers, Kiki Camarena, as one of the ten most wanted fugitives and offered 20 million reward for anyone who gave information that led to his capture. However, the investigations did not end there, since in November 2020 it came to light that the Eastern District Court of New York, the Specialized Unit in Matters of Domain Extinction, began an investigation folder to determine the properties that could be related to Caro Quintero and proceed with a possible confiscation by the Department of Justice of the United States. Jalisco, one of the municipalities with the highest surplus value in Mexico and that are part of the Metropolitan Area of Guadalajara, Jalisco.As DEBATE has explained before, the properties investigated for being owned by Caro Quintero would be located in different sectors and would be from homes and even commercial premises, which we list below: Properties that Caro Quintero has in Zapopan, Jalisco. Photo: Special 1.- One of the properties is located at 5397 Luigi Pirandello Street, in the Vallarta Universidad subdivision, in Zapopan. The house is in the name of Roxana Elizabeth Caro Elenes, daughter of Caro Quintero.2.- Two other properties are located in the Sagittarius Condominium that are located at Calle Sagitario 5289, apartments 8 and 9 of the Fraccionamiento Arboledas, also in Zapopan. Both departments would also be in the name of Roxana Elizabeth Caro Elenes.We recommend you read: 3.- Inside the Mercado del Mar de Zapopan Caro Quintero acquired the local 21 which is dedicated to the sale of seafood. This is located on Melchor Ocampo Avenue of the Mercado de Abastos Norte subdivision. The property has usufruct for life for Rafael Caro Quintero and his wife Elizabeth Elenes de Caro but would be in the name of Roxana Elizabeth, Henoch Emilio, Héctor Rafael and Mario Yibran, all children of Caro Quintero.4.- In block 41 of the Villa Universitaria subdivision is located another of Caro Quintero’s properties. It is domiciled at Paseo de los Virreyes Street 4238 and is in the name of Héctor Rafael Caro Elenes, son of the founder of the Guadalajara Cartel, who again, along with his wife, has usufruct for life of the property.
