Civil Protection calls for extreme precautions against rains in Culiacán

Culiacán, Sinaloa.- Before the heavy rains that are registered tonight in the central zone of the state, especially in the municipality of Culiacán, the State Institute of Civil Protection of Sinaloa directed by Héctor Modesto Félix Carrillo, calls on the population of the state capital to take extreme precautions before the floods that are occurring in different areas of the city and especially, to avoid crossing water flows, both in vehicles and on foot.  Among the main points that present water stagnation tonight, extreme precautions are invited when crossing by:1. Xicoténcatl Causeway and Doctor Mora Boulevard, at the height of the Church of Padre Cuco. 2. Boulevard Niños Héroes, under the bridge of Avenida Álvaro Obregón. 3. Calzada Heroico Colegio Militar and Boulevard Francisco I. Madero. 4. Avenida 16 de Septiembre, between Insurgentes and Independencia (Area of Capilla de Malverde). 5. Avenida Aquiles Serdán and Malecón. In addition, the State Institute of Civil Protection announced that the circulation through the Derivative Dam was closed due to the high levels of water, so it asks the population not to approach the main accesses of this point and use other access roads. We recommend you read: Finally, the invitation is reiterated to avoid entering streams, drains, fords or any other flow of water, since otherwise you run the risk of being dragged by strong water currents or even losing your life.
