Police rescue kidnapped woman in Tijuana hotel

Tijuana.- Municipal police in Tijuana managed to neutralize a man who kept a woman deprived of her liberty in a hotel in the border city. For more than a year, the woman would have been kidnapped without being able to leave the hotel where she was in captivity and permanently guarded. The report of an aggression against her provoked the mobilization of police elements who came to rescue her in the North Zone. Upon arriving at the hotel, the screams guided the police to the room where José “R” was identified as the alleged responsible for depriving of his freedom and wounding with a knife Monserrat, 20 years old, originally from the state of Chihuahua. When they met the aggressor, the police resorted to pepper spray to try to neutralize him since he was armed with a knife, the man’s reaction was to pounce on an officer, who pointed and shot him with a firearm. The alleged kidnapper was hospitalized pending the resolution of his legal situation. We recommend you read: Monserrat told the authorities that, in addition to not having been able to leave the hotel facilities, she had been locked in that room for a whole day.
