Fans of Talleres and piqueteros faced each other in a pitched battle: there are 15 wounded

At least 15 people were injured in a clash between fans of Talleres de Córdoba and demonstrators of the María Teresa Rodríguez group in a town of Santa Fe, in what was defined as a “pitched war” according to witnesses. It was “a pitched war, with machetes, shots and aggressions with knives” that took place at approximately 10.30 a.m. at the entrance of the town of Tacuarendí, General Obligado department, some seriously, among fans and demonstrators. In this framework, the fans of the T traveled to Resistencia, Chaco, with 14 buses and a dozen private vehicles and about 120 kilometers from the Chaco capital they met with a picket line on Route 11. Faced with this situation, with the impeded passage the confrontation between the fans and the so-called “Teresa Rodríguez Movement” broke out, who protested the withdrawal of social plans. Despite the fact that in the first instance there were negotiations to be able to move forward, they did not reach an agreement due to the intransigence of the demonstrators and the arrogance of the Cordobans. Meanwhile, the four police officers could not control the situation and in the face of the conflict, they had to request reinforcements to face the lack of control.

After the violence, ambulances from the provincial emergency service in the area began to load wounded and transferred them to the villa ocampo hospital. Some people were wounded with firearms and white, so they are in intensive care given the severity of their clinical conditions.
