The President of the Konex Foundation, Luis Ovsejevich and the President of the Grand Jury of the Konex Awards 2022: Visual Arts, Luis Felipe Noé communicate that, after having delivered the Diplomas of Merit to the 100 most outstanding figures of the Visual Arts in 21 disciplines, the Grand Jury chose in each of the quintets the personality that holds the most significant trajectory of the last decade (2012-2021). These figures will receive the Konex of Platinum.In turn, he selected among the Konex of Platinum the most outstanding personalities of the Visual Arts to receive the Konex of Brilliant, maximum award granted by the Konex Foundation, which in this edition number 43º went to Julio Le Parc and Marta Minujín.
In the previous installments of the Konex Awards for Visual Arts, the Konex de Brillante went to Horacio Butler in 1982, Juan Carlos Distéfano in 1992, Víctor Grippo and Luis Felipe Noé in 2002 and León Ferrari and César Pelli in 2012.Likewise, the Grand Jury designated Konex de Honor, which is awarded to an outstanding figure who died in the last decade: KONEX DE HONOR went to Joaquín Lavado (Quino).
