Roque Adrián Rodríguez was sentenced to life imprisonment this Friday as the author responsible for the femicide of Sabina Condorí, committed on April 14, 2019. The Third Criminal and Correctional Chamber of the First Judicial District of the Province of La Rioja declared him as “criminally responsible and guilty of the crimes of sexual abuse followed by death and qualified homicide.” The case is considered the first infanticide in the province of La Rioja. The girl lived in the Virgen Desatanudos neighborhood located south of the city. On the last day she went shopping at a kiosk when Rodriguez intercepted her.
