Caballito: they seized more than 750 illegal covers

Some 750 tires and 90 tires valued at more than 30 million pesos and that were marketed illegally were kidnapped in two gomerías in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Caballito, police sources reported today. The procedures were carried out by members of the Contraventions and Misdemeanors Department of the City Police and personnel of the Government Control Agency (AGC) after inspecting two gomerías located on Avellaneda avenues at 100 and Gaona at 1200 of the Federal Capital.Police spokesmen reported that in that framework, the uniformed found in both businesses a total of 750 covers and 90 used tires that were on display for sale and without the documentation that supported its legal origin. As a result, intervention was given to the Prosecutor’s Office of Flagrancia of the West Fiscal Unit, in charge of Rodrigo Pagano Mata, who ordered the kidnapping of these elements and the notification to those responsible for both gomerías for the violation of the Law of Auto parts.Likewise, the transfer of the covers and tires to the Judicial Playón located on Ferré Street at 2800, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Soldati.De according to the sources, the kidnapped elements have a market value of 32,700,000 pesos.
