Florencio Varela: they disrupted a disarming station and arrested seven people

In the last hours, in the Buenos Aires town of Florencio Varela, seven people were arrested after a series of raids in which a considerable amount of auto parts were found. According to police spokesmen, the investigation began at the end of November, when the theft of a Peugeot 208 was reported on Calchaquí Avenue. The owner of the car stated that he was intercepted by three armed robbers who stole his vehicle. Days later, the victim found a Facebook post offering for sale a vehicle and its auto parts, which he recognized as his own. The troops began a series of investigations in the homes suspected of being involved with the theft and sale of cars and ordered three raids where a total of seven people between 21 and 62 years old were arrested. Also, during the proceedings the agents confiscated the cell phones of those involved and a large number of auto parts, such as doors of several vehicles of different makes and models, and three engines with active kidnapping orders. The detainees were placed at the disposal of the Functional Unit of Instruction (UFI) 12 of the Quilmes Judicial Department for the crime of “Automotive theft and violation of Law 25,761”.
