Independiente moves in the pass market: Martín Cauteruccio and Mauricio Cuero are new reinforcements

Independiente announced on Thursday the hiring of forwards Martin Cauteruccio and Mauricio Cuero and is close to adding goalkeeper Rodrigo Rey and defender Jonathan Sandoval.The former San Lorenzo attacker terminated his contract with Aldosivi de Mar del Plata a few days ago and joined the “Red” for the next two years. For his part, the Colombian striker left Banfield last week and signed on Thursday with Independiente. Cuero, who arrives with the pass in his possession, negotiated with the institution a purchase option of $ 450,000 by December 2023, another of 650,000 if they acquire it in June 2024 or 850,000 if they do so at the end of the two-year contract. On the other hand, Rey, goalkeeper of last step by Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata, is one step away from becoming the fourth incorporation, since he disassociated himself from the “Wolf” and in the next few hours will join the squad to replace Sebastián Sosa, who left the club to join Pumas de México. It remains to define the arrival of defender Jonathan Sandoval. In principle, there is a loan agreement with Argentinos Juniors and the link would be for one year. It is worth mentioning that the first reinforcement of Independiente has been the midfielder of Quilmes Kevin López, who has a contract until 2025.
