Woman who murdered 2 Israelis sentenced to 26 years in prison

Esperanza “N,” the woman who was accused of murdering two Israeli citizens in Plaza Artz in Mexico City, was sentenced to 26 years in prison.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Morelos announced the sentence on December 26, which was obtained through an abbreviated process.
“The images captured by the video surveillance cameras of the restaurant where the murder was committed, as well as the videos of the C2, the C5, and the shopping plaza itself, together with the indications of witnesses, private security personnel and preventive police, collected to a large extent by the Attorney General’s Office of the CDMX, allowed the Prosecutor’s Office of Morelos to obtain the sentence of 26 years eight months in prison against of Esperanza “N”, the Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.

According to the authorities, Esperanza “N” was one of the material authors of the crime, while a woman named Vanessa was the intellectual author.
Vanessa is currently awaiting her midterm hearing, as is Mauricio “N,” the man who was with Esperanza at the time of the murder.
Crime in Artz Pedregal
In July 2019, the murder of two people of Israeli origin became known. The crime occurred in Plaza Artz Pedregal, located south of Mexico City.

The slain men were identified by the Israeli embassy as Alon Azulay, 41, and Benjamin Yeshurun Sutchi, 44.
It was also said that in the attack, Esperanza “N” was with a man at a table about 10 meters from where the two men of Israeli origin were.
Around 5:22 p.m., the woman and the man who accompanied her fired at the victims. A third person maintained communication with the two material authors.
