From RN confirm that Chile Vamos will not participate in the security table of the Government: they will deploy their own agenda

Since President Gabriel Boric pardoned 13 people to freedom (12 were convicted of the social outbreak and it is not the exfrentista, Jorge Mateluna) the opposition began to question his participation in the security table convened by the Government. This information was confirmed by the Secretary General of National Renewal, Diego Schalper, so Chile Vamos will not attend the meeting scheduled for this Tuesday.
The deputy indicated on Radio Cooperativa that the decision of Chile Vamos will go ahead until the government signals signs of commitment to public order, security, so Chile Vamos will be subtracted from any meeting for now.

He also added that from the opposition they will generate their own agenda that will have the following pillars: immigration policies, a new statute of pardons and a new anti-terrorist law. This is compounded by operational options to improve administrative expulsions in the event of irregular migration.
“On the one hand, it is to subtract from an instance that does not give guarantees, but at the same time to generate an agenda that allows finding solutions to the problems,” closed the parliamentarian.
“Don’t subtract”
From the ruling party they call Chile Vamos a nos to take away from the table, since sustainable advances have been made in terms of security and for the good of the country. The socialist deputy, Raul Leiva, indicated in the same media that the decision of the President on the pardons has nothing to do with the security table.
The PC parliamentarian, Alejandra Placencia, also urged the right not to subtract, since all the proposals have been heard, but if they carry out their decision “it will be clear that they are interested in making small political gains and not the security of the people.”
The independent Jaime Araya, also joined the statements of the parliamentarians and said that the country is “in time to do useful things to stop the advance of organized crime.”
