TEATRO NESCAFÉ DE LAS ARTES will present for the first time in Chile the French pianist and composer, Sofiane Pamart, with an unusual concert on Thursday, March 23.
Currently considered one of the ten best pianists in the world, and in the context of an extensive 10-stop tour of Latin America, the artist will demonstrate once again why his enormous love for classical music manages to excite the general public with a proposal tending more to feeling and instinct than to intellectuality.
With a look more of a rapper than a traditional pianist, Sofiane Pamart (1990) will review in our space the best of her albums to date, “Planet gold” (2020) -Gold Record- and “Letter” (2022), thus deploying her revolutionary style, which influenced from Claude Debussy to Philip Glass, breaks the schemes of classical music with delicate melodies, poetic, which generate various emotional states.
In fact, his magnetism with the general public is so effective that the artist, known as “Piano King”, has also been an important reference for rap and electronic artists after making numerous collaborations, including Koba LaD, Vald, Maes, Sneazzy, Scylla, Hugo TSR or Frenetik; works that will mean in 2019 two compositions certified with Gold; An endorsement of who at 32 years old redefines the canons of what a contemporary pianist is.
