Russia: Allegations Europe sent radioactive substances to Ukraine

From the government led by Vladimir Putin, the alleged shipment of containers with radioactive substances from Europe to Ukraine was denounced and it was made clear that it is part of a provocative operation to accuse the Russian armed forces. The Defense Ministry said in the statement that it is “to implement a provocation, several containers with radioactive substances were delivered to Ukraine from the territory of one of the European states, bypassing customs inspection, which will be used to stage the local contamination of the area in the radiation hazardous zone and controlled by Kiev.” In addition, the document explained that the purpose of the provocation is to accuse Russia of carrying out attacks on dangerous objects by radiation in Ukraine, something that would lead to the leakage of radioactive substances and contamination of the area. Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Beijing is considering handing over weapons and ammunition to Moscow, adding that such escalation would mean “grave consequences” for China. For its part, the government of Xi Jinping, an ally of Putin and which even showed a neutral attitude in the conflict, denied the reports. On the other hand, it is known that NATO is supporting the country governed by Zelenski with weapons, in fact, according to the French newspaper Le Pairisien, France announced that it will send AMX-10 light battle tanks “from the end of next week”.
