The North Central Prosecutor’s Office ordered the Anti-Corruption Brigade of the PDI to investigate and request background information from the Internal Revenue Service (SII), the Health Seremi, the Real Estate Conservator of Santiago and the Municipality of Santiago in the framework of the Sierra Bella Clinic Case.
This was instructed by prosecutor Patricio Cooper due to the ongoing investigation for alleged fraud in the purchase of the former Sierra Bella Clinic by the Municipality of Santiago.
That is why the Public Ministry has requested background information on the aforementioned services that participated in the acquisition of the property, among which is the appraisal of the clinic sold by San Valentino Real Estate.
On the other hand, the statement of Mayor Irací Hassler, municipal officials, appraisers hired by the municipality and other people who are fundamental to the investigation will also be taken.
It is important to mention that at the moment the parties have not been notified but have insisted that they will cooperate until the investigation is clarified.
