Forest fires balance: Government reports 232 active, 157 controlled and 42 extinguished

This Saturday the Government of President Gabriel Boric, communicated a new balance on the situation of forest fires affecting the center-south of the country.
According to the report, it is reported that there are currently 232 active fires, down to 21 with respect to the last reports, this thanks to the action of Firefighters and forest brigades. It was also indicated that there are 157 controlled emergencies and 42 extinguished nationwide, leaving an affected area of 458,000 hectares.
It was also reported that there are 2,331 homes destroyed, leaving 7,587 affected and 124 sheltered, while the deceased remain at 25.
Regarding critical infrastructure, it was specified that there are 13 educational facilities destroyed, nine have partial damage and one health facility is destroyed. In terms of basic services, 1,775 customers are affected.
The Ministry of Health (Minsal) reported 3,451 cumulative care so far during the emergency.
On the other hand, from the Ministry of Agriculture indicated that there are 6,849 affected producers between the regions of Maule and Los Ríos, in addition to the death of more than 20,000 animals.
